Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully and ensure that you understand them before using our website, services or placing orders.

By placing an order or service instruction with Studio Peckham Limited ("us" or "we"), you will be deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you are unhappy with any aspect of these, then you should contact us via email at help@StudioPeckham.co.uk before placing an order. Please note your confirmation of order and any correspondence with us will be in English.

These Terms and Conditions and your use of our website are governed by English law and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. This does not affect your statutory rights.

We accept orders and enquiries from outside the UK, but we provide no warranty, express or implied, that our website or any order complies with applicable non-UK laws or regulations. Any products or promotions not permitted under your local law cannot be offered to you.

A contract between you and us for the sale of our products and/or services will only exist once an order has been either fully or partially paid and accepted.

All transactions and prices quoted on this website are in GBP (£ Pound Sterling).

Scope of Services

We provide interior design and project management services, including but not limited to:

  • Interior design consultation

  • Space planning and design concepts

  • Sourcing and procurement of materials

  • Project management and contractor coordination

  • Custom-made furnishings and installations

All floor plans and drawings provided as part of our services are purely illustrative and should not be considered architectural plans. They are not intended for construction or regulatory purposes. Clients requiring architectural services should consult a qualified RIBA architect.

Clients are responsible for obtaining all necessary permissions from local authorities and ensuring compliance with building control and regulations for any work undertaken.

Operating Hours & Out-of-Hours Services

Our standard operating hours are 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM GMT, Monday to Friday. Any services requested outside of these hours, including weekends and bank holidays, will be charged at 1.5 times our standard hourly rate, as detailed on our Services Page. Prior agreement is required for any out-of-hours work, and availability is not guaranteed.

Intellectual Property

All design work, drawings, concepts, and specifications provided by us remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing. Full ownership of any design work is only transferred to the client upon receipt of full payment. Clients are not permitted to reproduce, distribute, or share any design work with third parties without our explicit consent.

Client Responsibilities

Clients must ensure that we have adequate access to the property and working conditions necessary for any site visits, installations, or consultations. Clients are also responsible for reviewing and confirming all design specifications before work commences. Any inaccuracies or omissions in the information provided by the client may impact the project, and we cannot be held responsible for resulting delays, costs, or required modifications.

Production, Delivery & Installation Timescales

Availability of goods and delivery timescales are subject to change. If this occurs, you will be notified. Production, delivery, and installation dates are estimates and are not legally binding.

Timeframes for production, delivery, installation, or collection shall not be considered essential to the contract.

Limitation of Liability

We are only responsible for losses resulting from breaches of these terms that were reasonably foreseeable. We are not liable for:

  • Direct or indirect loss of profits, business, goodwill, or financial loss due to delays beyond our control.

  • Incidental or consequential losses if we are unable to supply goods after receiving an order.

  • Third-party service or product failures.

We do not exclude liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

  • Any liability that cannot be lawfully excluded.

Subcontractors & Third-Party Services

Where subcontractors or third-party tradespeople are required, we will only assume responsibility for their work if the client has purchased a full project management service from us. Without such an agreement, the client is solely responsible for coordinating and overseeing any external contractors. We are not liable for any defects, delays, or issues arising from third-party work unless explicitly covered within our project management agreement.

Scope Changes & Quality Assurance

We cannot guarantee the quality, consistency, or final outcome of works if the client makes decisions or modifications to the project scope—including but not limited to changes in materials, finishes, or quantities—without our prior consultation and approval. Any deviations from our specifications may impact the integrity of the design, and we shall not be held responsible for any resulting defects or inconsistencies. Additionally, such modifications may affect the required quantity or quality of materials, and we cannot be held responsible for any increases or reductions in client-supplied items or their consequent expense.

Goods Made to Order

All made-to-order goods are clearly labelled on our website and are excluded from our standard cancellation policy. Refunds or exchanges are not available for such items unless they are faulty or damaged upon receipt.

Any goods found to be defective should be returned via our standard damaged goods returns policy.

Accepting Your Delivery

Before accepting delivery, inspect items inside the boxes. If items are damaged, do not accept them and contact us immediately at help@StudioPeckham.co.uk. Once accepted, we are not responsible for any loss or damage.

Signing as “unchecked” is not acceptable.

Failure to inform us of damaged goods upon arrival may affect your right to a replacement or refund.

All goods must be paid in full upon placing an order.

Interior design fees must be paid upfront before work begins. No refunds are available once work has commenced.

Client Specifications & Accuracy

We rely on the information and specifications provided by clients to fulfil orders and services. We cannot be held responsible for inaccuracies in client-provided specifications, measurements, or details that may affect the final outcome of a product or service. Any necessary modifications due to such inaccuracies may incur additional costs.

Dimensions & Product Modifications

Handmade items may vary slightly in dimensions. If exact sizes are required, please specify at the time of ordering.

We reserve the right to make technical modifications for quality improvements.

Clearance & Ex-Display Items

Clearance and ex-display items are sold as seen and are not eligible for refunds or exchanges unless they have a manufacturing fault.

Delivery Within the UK

Once an order is ready, you will be contacted with delivery details. Standard parcel deliveries may not have exact delivery times.

If an item arrives damaged and has been signed for as received in good condition, claims for replacement may not be valid.

Amending, Cancelling, or Returning Your Order

  • Additional items must be placed as a new order.

  • Delivery address changes should be requested via email.

  • If you wish to return an item, notify us within 7 working days. Items must be unused, in original packaging, and in resalable condition.

  • Made-to-order and custom items cannot be returned unless faulty.

Rolling Services Cancellation Policy

For services provided on a weekly/monthly rolling basis, cancellations must be made in writing at least 72 hours before the start of the next service week. If a cancellation is made less than 72 hours in advance, the full fee for the upcoming week will be charged and is non-refundable.

For any cancellations made with sufficient notice, fees already paid for future services will be refunded, or credited towards future services, at our discretion.

Storage & Disposal

If a client fails to take delivery or collect goods within a reasonable timeframe, we reserve the right to apply storage fees. If goods remain unclaimed beyond an agreed period, we may dispose of them at our discretion, and the client will not be entitled to a refund.

Items Out of Stock

If an item is out of stock, you will be informed and can choose a refund or back order.

Errors

We reserve the right to cancel orders if pricing errors occur. If payment has already been taken, a refund will be issued.

Refusal of Transaction & Eligibility of Purchase

We reserve the right to withdraw products, edit content, and refuse transactions at our discretion.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for contract breaches due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, industrial action, and supplier failures.

Bank Charges

We are not responsible for bank charges incurred by customers. Orders will only be processed once full payment is received.

Disputes

Contracts are governed by English law. Disputes will be resolved exclusively in English courts and in English.

Insurance Coverage

We hold public and products liability insurance with Hiscox Insurance Company Limited, with a limit of indemnity of £1,000,000 for each claim or loss, excluding defence and representation costs. The insurance policy (Policy Number: PL-PSC10003646643/00) is valid from 05/03/2025 to 04/03/2026.

It is the client's responsibility to assess whether this level of coverage is adequate for their specific project needs. If the client deems this coverage insufficient, any additional insurance premiums required to meet their needs will be chargeable and must be agreed upon prior to the commencement of any works.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with our prices, delivery details, and privacy policy, form the full agreement between you and us regarding the supply of goods and services.
